At Statewide Super, we’re with you for the long term. If you’re thinking about retirement – or the big day has already arrived – it doesn’t mean that you have to leave Statewide Super. Our range of pension options means you can still enjoy all the benefits of Statewide Super membership, throughout your retirement.
And if you’re not already a member, why not join our award-winning super team as you head into the next exciting phase of your life, and start enjoying all the benefits that being a Statewide Super member brings?
Super pension options for you in retirement
Statewide Super offers two comprehensive account-based retirement pension options, both of which allow you to draw a regular income for when you are either transitioning to retirement or when you leave the workforce altogether.
As an industry super fund we don’t pay profits to shareholders, which means we’re able to keep pension costs as low as possible, while also providing you with award-winning products and services.
With a Statewide Super pension, not only will you benefit from keeping your retirement money in the tax-effective super environment, you’ll also benefit from being able to choose from our range of ten investment options to help you meet your retirement goals.
Transition to retirement (TTR) pension
Are you thinking of cutting back your work hours and transitioning to retirement? Once you’ve reached retirement age you can transfer some or all of your super savings into a pension account and start a TTR pension while you continue to work.
This enables you to continue making contributions to your Statewide Super account while using payments from your Statewide Super TTR pension to supplement your income.
A Statewide Super financial planner will be able to let you know if a TTR pension is right for you.
Are you thinking of retiring completely? The Statewide Super Retirement pension provides you with regular income payments using funds from your account. You can transfer your existing super savings into the Retirement pension using any ‘unrestricted non-preserved’ money.
